The moment

I took this snap a couple of years back when lugging around a Mamiya 645 Pro TL was a “labor of love”.  Don’t get me wrong I still love the camera, even though my back will beg to differ.   This was one of those moments I was glad of lugging that black beast with me.

Fun with Medium Format

It’s not easy strapping around with a box-shaped medium format film camera.   I do it because the images are well worth the slight inconvenience.  I shot these images with a Hasselblad 500 C/M with 80mm f/2.8 lens and a Mamiya 645 Pro with 45mm f/2.8 lens.  Film used were Kodak BW400CN, and Fuji Color Pro 400

Carney's hamburgers and hotdogs on the sunset strip in californiaI shot this with a Mamiya 645 Pro with a 45mm f/2.8 lens using 120 Kodak Porta 400 color film.

Anyone living in Los Angeles knows about Carney’s.  It’s still there at the edge of the Sunset Strip.
