The last of Valentine’s day

My last batch of images using my 50mm manual focus f/1.4 Ai lens with my Nikon D800E.   If you are able to retrofit a good fast manual focus lens to your digital camera body, try it.  Have fun going full manual and enjoy the results.

  1. Nice shots! Love the festive atmosphere. Even before I bought my first OM1, I got the OM 50mm f1.8, OM 200mm f4 and the OM 300mm f4.5 for my E520 DSLR. I also bought some cheap Ebay extension tubes for macro work. I really liked using the 50mm the most.

    1. You should get a Zuiko 50mm F/1.4 for your OM-1. Seriously, this lens really clears the room. With the superb center weighting that OM-1 and OM-2n are known for, with a 50mm f/1.4 this is a combo you do not want to part with when shooting with film. Now imagine having an adapter to fit your OM mount lens to a Micro 4/3 or even a 4/3 DSLR, you will be ecstatic. Also check out Vivitar Lens with OM mounts. You’d be surprise of its quality.
